The Stairs and Landing
The stairs have a hand rail on both sides and are fairly steep, with a half landing which leads to a separate loo and the main family bathroom. Care should be taken at all times when using the stairs as this is an old house with quirky steps and half-landings.
The Landing looks out onto the veranda and the beautiful front garden and then onwards down the pretty main street of the village. Sea view? Well if you stand on a chair carefully and look eastward, you’ll see a skelf of sea, and if it’s high tide you’ll see maybe a millimetre more!
We have re-conditioned the original cast iron roll-top bath. It’s so long and comfortable – even really tall people should be able to lie back and keep their knees warm in this one!
The master bedroom has an ensuite bathroom with powerful shower, washbasin and loo. A little window overlooks the back garden.
